How this is built

Sources

  • NLL.com transactions log,
  • NLL.com player directory (refreshed daily) for jersey number, height, weight and position, with the clubs' own roster pages filling gaps
  • Free agents stay on the list for two seasons after their last transaction. A new transaction puts them back on.

How terms are read

A release ends the contract. A trade carries it to the new team. Practice-roster deals are one-year deals, so a player still on a practice roster when the season ends is a free agent. Protected practice players are the exception: the team keeps their rights. A practice player moved to the active roster is on a one-year deal for that season.

The cancelled 2020-21 season counted as a contract year, so deals signed around it aren't extended.

Previous team

"From" shows a player's last change of club: a trade, a free-agent signing, a dispersal-draft pick, or a practice-roster deal with a new club, named as the club was called at the time. Relocations don't count as moves: New England, Albany and Oshawa are one franchise, as are New York and Ottawa, and the original Rochester club that became Halifax.

Known gaps

A player with roster moves but no signing in the log is treated as a free agent whose deal expired.

Ottawa and Philadelphia ceased operations on Sept 10, 2026. Their players went to the Sept 15, 2026 dispersal draft (43 picks; Saskatchewan and Toronto passed in round three, and every club after Colorado passed in round four). A player who wasn't picked but now appears on a club's roster is shown with that club, with terms unknown until the league posts a signing.

Individual salaries aren't public, so none are shown.
